R2 - #4 Don't Say It (3-1) Brad Cox is hitting at 33% in his last 186 tries going turf to dirt. Not too shabby. And this filly is better bred for the dirt, anyway. Also I'm expecting a wet track - another strength of this filly's pedigree. Plus, she gets Franco, who is one of my all-time favorite wet track jocks.

R4 - #10 Gut Feeling (8-1) Drops into the claiming game today - note he has won his last two tries with a price tag on his butt. It's Rice/Ortiz, so we won't get 8-1, but still should hold a bit of value.

R6 - #3 For Your Pleasure (7-2) $5k sire and goes for $200k at auction, the owners sure saw something they like. Dam has had 3 of 5 win as juveniles and 6 of 6 overall with 1 stakes winner. Training well for the debut and looks live no matter what the track condition is.

R9 - #10 Ashburn Alley (8-1) I've been a fan of Jairo Rendon since he was lighting up the tote board a few years ago at Gulfstream. He's got a filly here whose dam has hit 3 of 3 with two-year olds with a stakes winner to boot. Trainer can get 'em ready for debut. I don't like the post, but hoping we get a couple of scratches to her inside.

Rest of the card...
R1 - #6 Sinaloa (10-1)
R3 - #2 Gun Maestro (9-2)
R5 - #5 Datesfreedon (20-1)
R7 - #4 What's Up Doc (8-1)
R8 - #7 Rocco Strong (12-1)

No wins yet this month, but a few top 5's so I'm keeping my head above water. As long as i don't have to make a deposit I'm happy.

R1 - #2 Rob The Bank (4-1) Doesn't have a sparkling turf pedigree, yet managed a couple of nice tries on the grass. Throws out a bullet last week on the training track and now moves to dirt - where he belongs.

R4 - #1 Timo (8-1) His last race was his first ever on dirt after going 0 for 8 on synthetic & grass. Watching that race (same level as today's), it looks to me like Rivera went too fast early and the horse weakened. Gets an upgrade to solid route jock DD for the second try on dirt. Should improve.

Rest of the card...
R2 - #5 Tommy Bee (12-1)
R3 - #7 Mister JT (4-1)
R5 - #12 Libban (7-2)
R6 - #5 Proud Foot (6-1)
R7 - #8 Shaky Pants (4-1)
R8 - Sir Lancelot (5-1)
R9 - #8 Miss Lao (8-1)
